Bomber Pepe is an enemy first appearing in Mega Man 3. It resembles a fat blue penguin loosely based on Pepe, which hops around and releases exploding eggs.

In Mega Man 3, Bomber Pepes appear only in Gemini Man's stage (but not the Doc Robot version) and only in the first section. They make small hops with pauses in between, during which they may toss an egg bomb forward in an arc if Mega Man is near. The egg bounces twice, going higher on the first bounce, and then explodes when it hits the ground a third time. It will also explode instantly if it hits a wall, no matter how often it has bounced.

Both the egg and its explosion can harm Mega Man, with the latter dealing more damage. Shooting at an egg destroys it, preventing the explosion and potentially causing an item to drop.

Bomber Pepes reappear in Mega Man III on the Game Boy, again in Gemini Man's stage. They behave similarly in concept, but jump much higher, and attack during jumps rather than on the ground. In doing so, they toss an egg bomb high into the air, which bounces close to the ground several times before eventually exploding. Hitting a wall no longer causes it to detonate instantly, but instead bounces it back, enabling the eggs to stay around much longer.

In addition to these functional changes, these Bomber Pepes are also slightly weaker; while they deal the same amount of contact and explosion damage, the eggs themselves deal less damage when touched, and the enemy has two fewer hit points.
