Minor Enemies

Name Sprite Description HP Damage Stage(s)
Aloha Dodonpa A cannon hidden under a palm tree. When Mega Man approaches, it reveals itself and stats shooting straight forward at a slow rate. The tree must be destroyed separately, and Mega Man can stand on the cannon once the tree is gone. 3 (cannon)
6 (tree)

3 (projectiles)
Opening Stage
Ammoner An ammonite that lashes at Mega Man with its tentacles on land or swims back and forth in water. It can be shot to push it around and can roll down slopes and squash other enemies, but is destroyed if it falls on non-sloped ground. Attacking its exposed side instantly makes it retreat into its shell and drop. N/A 4 Opening Stage, Underwater Stage
Batton M64 A bat that sometimes starts on the ceiling and takes some time to wake up, then chases Mega Man. Unlike other Batton versions, it does not return to the ceiling, and also has the ability to turn into a drill and quickly drop down. Can only be harmed while it is awake and not in drill form. 1 2 (normal), 4 (falling), 3 (static drill) Ice Stage, Base Stage, Ruins Stage, Wily Stage 2
Batton Mommy and Petit Batton A Batton M64 that is found around Petit Battons, smaller versions of itself that follow it around. Both the Mommy and Petit Battons can launch themselves forward as a drill, rather than dropping down. 1 3 Ruins Stage
Big Telly A giant Telly R that flies forward and swoops down, dropping many bombs before going up again and stopping. Some will release two regular Telly Rs when they stop. 4 5 (contact)
3 (bomb)
Ice Stage, Base Stage, Wily Stage 1, Wily Stage 3
Brambles A stationary, thorny metal vine that deflects shots and harms Mega Man on contact. The Flame Sword can destroy it, though it will respawn like other enemies. 1 3 Forest Stage
Bunby Tank DX Drives left and right and periodically stops to turn towards Mega Man and fire two rockets forward if he is near. Its body and head have a separate health pool - if the body is destroyed first, its head separates as a flying Bunby Top DX, which follows Mega Man. 4 (body)

3 (rockets)
Opening Stage, Ice Stage, Amusement Park Stage, Forest Stage, Wily Stage 1, Wily Stage 3
Bunby Top DX The head of a Bunby Tank DX that separates after its body is destroyed. It slowly follows Mega Man, periodically stopping.
The Tops appear by themselves in the Rush Jet section of Sky Stage (Mega Man 8), spawning from hatches and flying towards Mega Man.
3 4 Opening Stage, Sky Stage, Ice Stage, Amusement Park Stage, Forest Stage, Wily Stage 1, Wily Stage 3
Cline B A Chinese dragon that wiggles across the screen in certain pattern in the Rush Jet sections. Destroying any segment other than the head cuts off its tail at that point, but focusing on the head destroys it fully. 9 (head)
2 (segment)
6 Sky Stage, Wily Stage 2
Cline G A Chinese dragon that wiggles towards Mega Man in the Rush Jet sections. If left intact for too long, it curls up and self-destructs, sending its harmful body segments flying. Destroying any segment other than the head cuts off its tail at that point, but focusing on the head destroys it fully. 9 (head)
2 (segment)
6 Sky Stage
Count Bomb CD A red Count Bomb GEO that sprout legs and falls down when activated, walking around until it explodes. N/A 6 (explosion) Base Stage, Underwater Stage, Wily Stage 3
Count Bomb GEO A stationary platform that slowly counts down when Mega Man steps on its pressure plate and explodes when the counter reaches zero. N/A 6 (explosion) Base Stage, Underwater Stage, Wily Stage 3
Crunchran An enemy that resembles a moving hole, which glides across the ground and follows Mega Man. When he is on top, a crocodile maw comes out and snaps at him. Most weapons can only hit it during its brief attack animation. 1 6 Alternate Dimension Stage
Dodonpa Cannon A stationary cannon that can turn and fire at various angles. The cannonballs fly in an arc and can be destroyed. 3 (contact)

3 (cannonball)
Sky Stage, Amusement Park Stage, Base Stage, Duo Stage, Wily Stage 1, Wily Stage 2
Fire Metall A Metall with a flame on its head. It simply walks forward, jumping off platforms when it gets to the edge. If it walks past a fuse in Base Stage, the fuse is lit, potentially blowing up the bomb blocks it is attached to. 3 4 Base Stage, Ruins Stage, Wily Stage 1
Goriblue A stationary, gorilla-like enemy that periodically throws bombs at Mega Man in an arc, which explode harmlessly on the ground. If Mega Man is in the air, it will throw in a lower arc. The bombs can be destroyed by damage. 6 (Goriblue)

Hogale A giant whale airship with different behaviours. In Ice Stage, it hovers in place and drops blocks, which are then knocked forward by machines on the ground. In Sky Stage (Mega Man 8), it flies across and drops large numbers of Metall SVs.

In the Rush Jet sections, Hogales appear suddenly from above or below, stop in place and release many Tencrows from their mouth, then fly forward to ram Mega Man.

Sky Stage, Ice Stage, Wily Stage 2
Joe Classic A Joe with a shield like the traditional Sniper Joe, which protects its front. It may shoot forward, jump up at random, or lob a grenade and wait for it to explode, putting its shield away during any of these. It deals no direct damage to Mega Man, and shots go past it. N/A N/A Ruins Stage
