Boss Attack
From Mega Man Wiki
The Boss Attack (ボスアタック)[1] is a recurring segment in the Mega Man franchise. Usually occurring near the end of the game, the boss attack has the player fight all of the game's previous Stage Select or Mission bosses in the same stage, one after the other, in order to advance. It was first introduced as a sequential gauntlet of boss battles in a set order, though since then it is most often a room of teleporters that give the player the choice of which bosses to target in which order.
