Pooker is an enemy appearing in Mega Man 6. It is a very flat metallic shell or hemisphere with two eyes peeking out and a hatch on top, from which it can fire projectiles.
In the Games
Mega Man 6
In Mega Man 6, Pookers are found in the Oil Field (Flame Man) and Ancient City (Centaur Man) stages, later reappearing in Mr. X stage 3. They are stationary enemies that sit flat on the ground, launching small projectiles towards Mega Man in a tall arc, but at a slow pace. Though immune to most attacks, a charged shot from the Mega Buster or Power Mega Man can be used to flip them over, which destroys them if they hit the ground.
Flipping a Pooker into oil (whether it has been ignited or not) reveals a hidden property, causing it to inflate into a harmless air cushion platform with a pedal on top, quite similar to the Hover enemy in Mega Man 4. If Mega Man jumps on the pedal, the platform moves a very short distance in the direction he is facing, enabling him to cross the oil or flames by jumping on it repeatedly.
Official Data
Pooker appears under "Mega Man 6" in the Database in Mega Man Legacy Collection.
