Mega Man: The Wily Wars (ロックマンメガワールド, lit. "Rockman Mega World") is a compilation of remakes of the first three games of the Classic series. It was developed by Capcom and released for the Sega Genesis in 1994-1995.
Story

Tired of having his plans foiled every time by Mega Man, Dr. Wily decided to build himself a time machine. Transporting himself into the past, Dr. Wily restored his defeated robots and started causing chaos. At this rate, even the peaceful past was going to be tainted by Dr. Wily's ambitions! In order to stop Dr. Wily, Mega Man was sent into the past in a time machine hastily crafted by Dr. Light.[1]

Boobeam Trap | ![]() |
The Boobeam Trap is a puzzle boss consisting of four wall-mounted hemispheres that shoot directly at Mega Man, arranged in a maze-like room with parts blocked off by walls. As both Boobeams and walls can only be destroyed with Crash Bomber shots, Mega Man must ration his weapon energy and take the correct path through the room or he will run out of bombs before all the Boobeams are destroyed. | Wily Stage 4 | Crash Bomber
Wily Machine 2 (phase 1) | File:TWW - Wily Machine 2 (phase 1) Sprite.png | Dr. Wily is hidden in a giant flying machine that moves back and forth and shoots large projectiles from a cannon on the bottom, which travel along an inverted arc. Its weak point is on the front and takes massive damage from a fully charged Atomic Fire. | Wily Stage 5 | Atomic Fire
Crash Bomber | ||||||
Wily Machine 2 (phase 2) | File:TWW - Wily Machine 2 (phase 2) Sprite.png | Wily is now revealed as parts of his machine are destroyed. This phase is similar to the first, but the projectiles bounce along the ground instead. The weak point is the cockpit. | Wily Stage 5 | Crash Bomber

Shadow Blade | ||||||
Yellow Devil Mark 2 | File:TWW - Yellow Devil Mark 2 Sprite.png | An upgraded version of the Yellow Devil. It regularly moves to the other side of the room by breaking up into pieces, which either fly across one by one and reassemble at their destination (like the original Yellow Devil) or bounce along the ground at a faster pace. Once fully formed, it opens it eye, which is also its only weak point, to fire projectiles at Mega Man before repeating the process. | Wily Stage 2 | Hard Knuckle
Shadow Blade | ||||||
Holograph Mega Mans | File:TWW - Mega Man Sprite.png File:TWW - Mega Man Sprite.png File:TWW - Mega Man Sprite.png | Three copies of Mega Man that run across different platforms while shooting directly at Mega Man, then teleport to switch positions. 28 | 4 (contact) 2 (shots) |
Hard Man Stage, Gemini Man Stage, Magnet Man Stage, Shadow Man Stage | N/A |
Tama | ![]() |
A giant cat that tosses two yarn balls, which bounce around. 3 (yarn balls) 2 (fleas) |
Top Man Stage | N/A |
Doc Robots

After beating the eight Robot Masters, Mega Man must complete a more challenging "Doc Robot" version of four of the stages. Every stage contains two Doc Robots - the first acting as a miniboss, the second as the stage boss - which fight by using the data of Robot Masters from Mega Man 2. Although sprites of these Robot Masters are briefly seen "entering" the Doc Robot from above, all Doc Robots use the same sprite in battle.
Each Doc Robot is weak to two weapons obtained from this game's Robot Masters, and does not grant a weapon when defeated.
