Yamato Spear is a Robot Masterweapon first appearing in Mega Man 6, where it is obtained from Yamato Man. It has a purple and white colour scheme and fires spear tip projectiles.

In Mega Man 6, the Yamato Spear is obtained by defeating Yamato Man, who uses a spear in his attacks. It consumes 1 point of energy to fire a spear tip forward, which travels at high speed and pierces enemies' shields, such as Shield Attacker GTR. Pressing the button repeatedly can rapid-fire these tips, which emerge from slightly different vertical positions for a scatter effect.
The Yamato Spear is the main weakness of Knight Man, whose shield it ignores, and the Mechazaurus boss, dealing 4 damage per hit to each. It also deals two damage to Rounder II (which is generally weak to special weapons), the Power Piston and Tank CSII.
