Attack pattern

Tank CSII enters the boss room from the right side and always moves left. It is similar in movement to the Gorilla Tanks from Forgotten Area in that it tries to corner Mega Man and stops moving once he is cornered. However Tank CSII can be shot to push it back a bit. Every time Mega Man presses the shoot button, Tank CSII will fire a shot from the top of its "head" in a trajectory that arcs. This shot is approximately aimed at Mega Man's position. (If he is in range.) At 3-second intervals, Tank CSII shoots a cannonball from its main turret. The cannonball flies forward slowly and is affected by gravity, and can also be destroyed by Mega Man. The main turret is Tank CSII's weak spot, and the best way to beat this boss is to be far away, as then you don't have to worry about the shot from the tank's "head".

Weakness

Tank CSII is destroyed in 7 hits by Wind Storm Using this weapon requires you to fight Tank CSII up close, however it still pushes the tank back a bit. Tank CSII also takes 4 damage from a fully charged punch from the Rush Power Adaptor. Per usual, Tank CSII takes 3 damage from a fully charged buster shot.

Other media

Tank CSII, similar to many other Robot Masters and Fortress Bosses, had a cameo appearance in Mega Man Megamix. Tank CSII also had appeared in the Rockman 6 manga.
