Mac (マック) is a character and antagonist in the X era, serving as a sub-boss in Mega Man X3. He is a Reploid who was formerly a Maverick Hunter, until he went Maverick and joined the Doppler Army.

In Mega Man X3, Mac appears as a sub-boss in the game's Opening Stage, Hunter Base. When X comes across him, a cutscene plays where Mac paralyzes X and captures him with a Hangerter, revealing he has betrayed the Maverick Hunters and plans to bring him to Dr. Doppler. Shortly after, Zero appears and the player controls him to pursue. Zero swiftly destroys Mac and the Hangerter, freeing X and allowing him to finish the stage.

Trivia

  • For April Fools' Day 2019, Rockman Unity jokingly announced plans to produce Ver.Ke models of various Mega Man characters, including Mac, Axl, and Alia. The next year, for April Fools' Day 2020, Rockman Unity announced ceramic silver Mega Man rings that would cost ¥690 million (roughly $4.5 million USD) each, showing designs for Mac and Sigma rings.
