Mega Man is a comic series produced by Archie Comics, based on the franchise of the same name. The series was announced at New York Comic Con 2010, and began publication in April 2011 with Ian Flynn as the lead writer. It includes adaptations of video games in the Classic era and some of the X era as well. In 2013, a crossover took place between the Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog franchises under the title Worlds Collide, and another crossover event called Worlds Unite ran in 2015. The series was put into an indefinite hiatus after Issue #55, concluding with the setup for an adaptation of Mega Man 4 that never came to be.
