Optic Sunflower, known as Optic Sunfloward (オプティック・サンフラワード) in Japan, is a Maverick from the X era, appearing as one of the main bosses in Mega Man X8. He is a light-themed Reploid based on a sunflower, who attacks with laser beams and capture spheres. He is a new generation Reploid who ran a virtual reality training facility.

His weakness is the Green Spinner, Youdantotsu, or Blast Launcher from Bamboo Pandamonium, which briefly stuns him. A boss attack rematch with Optic Sunflower later occurs in the Gateway stage.
