This page is for discussing the formal approval or denial of re-licensing the wiki from Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 to Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0.

If approved

1. The wiki will be relicensed under CC BY-SA 4.0
2. All previous edits will be relicensed or removed, depending on the editor's preference.

1. For context, I was discussing the merge with people in NIWA and a few of them pointed out that MMW's current license is not compatible with MMKB's. I don't think anyone has a problem with it, but I can't assume it either. Tacopill (talk) 15:47, 17 December 2023 (UTC)
2. I think this is a good idea, since it makes absolutely sure that MMKB's content can be replicated here. Better to do it (relatively) early on before it gets the chance to become a larger, headache-inducing problem later down the line. Splashdown (talk) 09:14, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
3. Should this be removed from the header? I just now noticed the wiki now uses the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, so I don't think it's necessary to keep the reminder up since it's already come to pass (and new contributions would automatically fall under its terms).
