Pallette (パレット) is a supporting character in the X era, first appearing in Mega Man X8 as a navigator and bonus playable character.

In the Games

Mega Man X8

Pallette first appeared in Mega Man X8. When choosing the first stage from the Stage Select, Alia introduces the player to both Pallette and Layer, who are newly-assigned Navigators. From this point on, Pallette can be chosen as a Navigator for each visit to a stage. She specializes in route analysis, giving the player more hints about secret paths and item locations than the other Navigators. Pallette also runs the R&D Lab, processing Rare Metals into Chips.

"Pallette is one of those absentminded types, so I focused on pastel colors for her. Layer has more of a divine air about her, so I went with the rich and royal purple. As far as Alia is concerned, she brought sex appeal to a man's world, but by changing her hairstyle in 'X8', I was trying to add some cuteness to her character." - (Tatsuya Yoshikawa)
