New generation Reploid

A new generation Reploid, known as a new generation Repliroid (新世代レプリロイド) in Japan,[note 1] is a special type of Reploid appearing in Mega Man X8. They are highly-advanced Reploids built with copy chips, which contain databases of DNA of other Reploids for them to utilize.

In Mega Man X8, the new generation Reploids are introduced as an advanced workforce created to help the humans complete the Jakob Project to escape to live on the Moon.
