In the Games
Mega Man X4
Slash Beast debuts in Mega Man X4 as one of the eight Mavericks on the Stage Select screen. He is a fearsome member of Repliforce who serves as the boss of Military Trian. His attacks are all quite dangerous, but he often pauses to roar, giving the player a chance to strike. Defeating Slash Beast grants Twin Slasher to X and Shippuga to Zero. His weakness is the Ground Hunter from Jet Stingray, which slips him and breaks the claws on his feet; Zero has no equivalent weakness for him, though Raijingeki deals heavy damage. A boss attack rematch with Slash Beast later occurs in Final Weapon 3.
Other Game Appearances
- In Mega Man X Legacy Collection, Slash Beast appears in X Challenge. He is fought alongside Crescent Grizzly in 1-3 in Volume 1.
Other Media
- In the Rockman X4 manga, Slash Beast reprises his role from Mega Man X4.
- In the Archie Mega Man comic, Slash Beast appears in the "Worlds Unite" arc as one of the many Mavericks resurrected in Sigma's army.

Perhaps the wildest and most dangerous combatant in Repliforce. His reason for joining up was purely to satisfy his urge to carve up his enemies, and on the battlefield he is known for fearlessly challenging enemies even twice his size. He supports the coup by running guard duty on military supply trains carrying weapons and ammunition to Repliforce units. |
