Sky Lagoon (スカイラグーン) is an important location and the Opening Stage in Mega Man X4. The Sky Lagoon is an aerial city that is under attack by Mavericks when X/Zero arrive. X/Zero will encounter and be attacked by Eregion, and in the last room they find Magma Dragoon, who tells them the city is falling. X/Zero then evacuate the scene to see the damage below. After the Sky Lagoon falls, X/Zero traverse the rubble to fight and destroy Eregion. Following the Eregion fight, X/Zero meet Colonel, who refuses to meet the Hunter's requests to come back to their base for questioning. Due to this incident, the Repliforce are further suspected to be involved with the Sky Lagoon's destruction.
