Sonic Man (or Sonicman) is a Robot Master who appeared in Mega Man (DOS). He is one of the guardians of Dr. Wily's stronghold.

Sonic Man is a green robot with yellow trims who bears a heavy resemblance to Bubble Man. He has purple flippers, kneecaps, and shoulderpads. Sonic Man wields a trident, and his weapon is the Sonic Wave, which is a noise-based wave that bounces off of walls.

In Mega Man (DOS), Sonic Man is one of the main bosses that can be selected from the start, and the 1st in reading order. His stage is some kind of water facility carved into a hillside, with rats, bats and sentry turrets, and stacks of radioactive barrels in a large passage at the bottom.

Sonic Man is fought in a chamber filled with water up to the boss doors. During the fight, he will swim diagonally downward towards Mega Man, trying to harm him via physical contact. He may also ascend up in the water. At the zenith of this movement, he will use his trident to fire three mines before descending. He may use either of these maneuverers depending on where Mega Man is.

Sonic Man is weak to the Nuclear Detonator, which can defeat him with one use with good timing.
