Barrage Man is a Robot Master who appeared in Dreamwave Production's Mega Man comic mini-series. A gigantic green robot likely built by Dr. Wily, his arms end in two pairs of large cannons capable of firing a salvo of green-hued bursts of energy referred to as Ion Blasts. He verbally speaks his thoughts and runs on a primitive AI.
Barrage Man was part of the third of Dr. Wily's attacks on Mega City's infrastructure. He attacked airborne vehicles, while Dr. Wily's sabotage of Dr. Light's traffic control system kept congestion high. He was ambushed by Mega Man and destroyed.
Trivia
Barrage Man's speech patterns may be a homage to those of Omega Supreme from the Transformers franchise, as both are large and possess heavy weaponry. Notably, Dreamwave Productions had the license to make Transformers comics during the timespan the Mega Man comic mini-series was produced.
