Bit Man (or Bitman) is a Robot Master who appeared in Mega Man 3: The Robots are Revolting. He is one of the robots who goes berserk and rebels against the humans.
Bit Man is a yellow robot with electric powers. His Stage Select portrait bears a striking resemblance to Hard Man, although with an electrode on top of his head; his in-game sprite appears to have a green visor over his face. His body is based on Crash Man and resembles Spark Man, but with a belt around his waist. His hands are two drill bits, which he uses to generate electricity, he can fire these drill bits to use his weapon, the Bit Cannon.
In the Games
Mega Man 3
In Mega Man 3: The Robots Are Revolting, Bit Man is one of the main bosses that can be selected from the start, and the 2nd in reading order. His stage is set on an oil rig, with red girders holding up the facility and a big rig drill in the middle. Oil drums and pits of fire also litter the stage with the bottom of the rig damaged.
Bit Man is fought at the top of the oil rig after climbing a tall ladder. He will wait at the end of the room for seven seconds before firing his Bit Cannon while charging towards the other side headfirst like a bull. When he has reached the end of the room he crashes into the wall and five metal plates will fall from the ceiling. He repeats this pattern over and over again.
Bit Man is weak to the Torch Arm, which deals 8 damage to him, and has minor weaknesses to the Water Shooter.
