Blade Man (or Blademan) is a Robot Master who appeared in Mega Man 3: The Robots are Revolting. He is one of the robots who goes berserk and rebels against the humans.

Blade Man is a purple and yellow robot with a yellow core on his chest. His Stage Select portrait bears a striking resemblance to Metal Man, although with a purple color scheme and a crest on his head; his in-game sprite appears to have a deep blue visor shielding his eyes. His body is based on Metal Man, but with spikes on his shoulders instead of sawblades. His vacuum-shaped blade launcher is located on his left hand and can fire a barrage of three sharp shuriken coincidently also called Blade Launcher.

Mega Man 3

Boss sprite from Mega Man 3: The Robots Are Revolting.

In Mega Man 3: The Robots are Revolting, Blade Man is one of the main bosses that can be selected from the start, and the 3rd in reading order. His stage is set in a 'city' according to the level file name although it seems to resemble a hydraulic dam more, with giant glass pipes located in the underwater complex that Mega Man must swim through while avoiding spike traps. The latter half meets Mega Man with plant monsters and pipes dripping water.

Blade Man is fought at the end of the 'city' after swimming through a large pool. During his fight he will jump on Mega Man, trying to hurt him and when he reaches a wall, he stops to fire his Blade Launcher.

Blade Man is weak to the Bit Cannon, which deals 8 damage to him, and has minor weaknesses to the Oil Stream, Torch Arm and Shark Boomerang.
