The Stage Select (ステージセレクト) is a screen that appears in many games in the Mega Man franchise. It is a menu from which the player chooses which stage to play. Usually, the stages are represented by portraits of the faces of their respective bosses, such as Robot Masters or Mavericks, or they may simply be points on a map. Hovering over a selection may show a preview image of the stage or list some information.
