Vanishing Gungaroo, known as Vanishing Gangarun (バニシング・ガンガルン) in Japan, is a Maverick from the X era, appearing as one of the main bosses in Mega Man X7. He is a explosion-themed Reploid based on a kangroo, who attacks with a Ride Armor and explosion attacks. He is a member of the vigilante syndicate Red Alert.

Vanishing Gungaroo debuts in Mega Man X7 as one of the eight Mavericks on the Stage Select screen. He is a member of Red Alert who occupies an underground weapons bunker, serving as the boss of the Tunnel Base stage. He first fights using a Ride Armor, emerging to box on foot once it is destroyed. Defeating Vanishing Gungaroo grants Explosion to Axl and X, and Hadangeki to Zero. His weakness is the Wind Cutter or Souenbu from Wind Crowrang, which briefly knocks him down. A boss attack rematch with Vanishing Gungaroo later occurs in the Crimson Palace.

	Gungaroo is a bounty hunter who has holed up in an underground tunnel system converted for heavy weapons storage. His Reploid brain was only programmed with the intellect of a child, so he feels most comfortable cradled in the cockpit of his humongous kangaroo Ride Armor, like it's a mother's pouch. His comrades are glad to have him around, but they try to stay out of his way.

"We put boxing gloves, shoes, and headgear on a baby wearing a diaper. Of course, he's all pink, reminiscent of X3's Kangaroo Ride Armor. In the cockpit of the Kangaroo Ride, there is a sprite that shows "X Locked On" secretly placed on its console.
