Adhering Suzy,[1] also known as Octopus Battery[2] or as simply Suzy,[3], is an enemy rom the Classic era, first appearing in the original Mega Man. It is a round robot with a singular large eye and flat extensions on four sides, giving it a somewhat box-shaped appearance.

Mega Man

Adhering Suzy from Mega Man.

In the original Mega Man, Adhering Suzies are somewhat common enemies, appearing in Cut Man's stage, Bomb Man's stage, Ice Man's stage and Dr. Wily stages 2 and 3. It does not actively attack Mega Man, but rather travels up and down or from side to side between walls, stopping and closing its eye for a random amount of time whenever it touches something solid. The only way to be hurt by a Suzy is for Mega Man to walk or fall into it.

Suzies are vulnerable to any attack, but are among the more resilient enemies in the game, with 5 Mega Buster shots required to take them down. Doing so awards the player with 300 points.

Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge

Suzies return in Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge on the Game Boy, being virtually identical to their original incarnation in every way. They appear in every stage except Cut Man's and the second Dr. Wily stage.

Mega Man 10

In Mega Man 10, Suzies appear with a slightly changed design, known as R Suzy. They act the same as in other games and can be defeated in the same manner.
