Script:Mega Man X: Command Mission

Script of all narration and dialogue in Mega Man X: Command Mission. Includes tabbers with the official English localization, the original Japanese script, and an English fan translation (to be added). Cutscenes listed in the Sky Room have their respective titles, while other scenes have unofficial titles.
Chapter 1: Infiltrate Giga City!
1-1: Infiltration
1-2: Analysis
X: Just as I expected... the radio's useless. Zero: I can't believe they sent only the three of to infiltrate this huge island. I mean, we're good, but I don't know if we're that good. X: A large force would be cumbersome. Zero: Keep things small and sleek, huh? Shadow: I'm no great hunter like you two... But believe me, I know this island's layout. X: Well we're in your hands, Shadow. Shadow: OK, let's move. I know the perfect place for a hideout. (An explosion occurs, separating X from Zero and Shadow with debris.) X: Are you two okay? Shadow: X, use those stairs. We'll meet up top! X: This could be a trap. Be careful. Zero: Finders, keepers for any goodies! |
1-3: Hippopressor
Zero: What took you so long, X? You know I can't stand to wait. (Hippopressor appears.) Zero: Who the heck is this? |
1-4: Epsilon
Shadow: Yeah... But look... X: Epsilon?! Epsilon: Indeed, it is I. Epsilon, the Rebellion Army Commander. Zero: Well, well! So the great Commander came out just to greet us? Epsilon: I have heard many things about you. The great Maverick Hunters... X and Zero. You truly are elite Reploids. Won't you fight alongside us, fight for a common vision? Zero: Shut your trap, Maverick! You're in no position to make offers. This is three versus one, buddy! Epsilon: Oh, but is it? Zero: Ungh! X: Shadow! No way! Epsilon: Shadow is a believer. He understands our goals. I'll ask again: whose side are you on? Zero: Okay, Epsilon... My answer is... (X fires his X-Buster, while Zero lunges with his Z-Saber.) Zero: This! |
1-5: The Cadre
Ferham: Silence! Show the Commander some respect! X: Zero, behind you! (Scarface readies his lance.) X: Zero! (Scarface throws his lance, so X shoots Ferham's whip to free Zero; however, Shadow shoots Zero off the roof.) Zero: Agghh! X: Zero! (Botos fires a laser at X's feet.) X: Oh no. Ferham: Ha hah hah. Epsilon: Ha hah! Join us, X. X: I don't care what your vision is. You're still a bunch of Mavericks! And as you know, I'm a Maverick Hunter! Shadow... I can't forgive you... Shadow: Heh heh heh. (X shoots the floor and leaps off the roof.) Ferham: Why, you... You won't get away! Epsilon: Let him go. He will be back. My subjects! The time has come. To show the world our vision! |
Chapter 2: Recapture Central Tower!
2-1: Secret Resistance Base
Interception Squad Leader: X, you've come to. This place is known as 'New Hope'. X: But, what about Zero...?! Interception Squad Leader: Take it slowly, X. I don't know what happened, but you've taken some serious damage. This is the Resistance hideout. You can rest here. |
2-2: X Wanted Dead or Alive
X: Colonel, I have some bad news... Shadow betrayed us! Redips: What?! X: The mission plans were leaked. They... they got... Zero... Redips: X... are you OK- X: Colonel Redips? Shoot! I can't get a clear signal in here. Announcement: Federation agents have illegally entered Giga City space. Repeat! Illegal entry! Report any sightings of suspicious Reploids immediately. |
2-3: The Bounty Hunter
X: Uou're with the Rebellion forces?! Rowdy Reploid: I'm not a supporter of Epsilon, but shouldn't you, as a Reploid, support the idea of our independence? (The Rowdy Reploid approaches X, but is destroyed by an attack.) X: Huh?! Who are you?! Spider: Trust me! I didn't do that for you!! I'm neither Maverick, nor Rebellion. But if I brought your head to the Rebellion Army, it would fetch a pretty penny! X: A bounty hunter! Spider: Well done, chump! That's quite a grasp of the obvious you've got there. Now let's rumble! |
2-4: Enter Aile
Aile: You are the Maverick Hunter X, are you not? I am Aile. I am a member of the Resistance. X: Okay, Aile. What's going on around here? Aile: Well, if you've made it this far, then you've probably already figured out that the leader of our Resistance, Chief R, has been caught by the Rebellion Army. X: So, you've come to rescue Chief R? Aile: Yes, that is why I came to the Governor's Precinct. But alone... I will not stand a chance. X: Well, I'm on a reconnaissance mission. Rescuing Chief R might be the best way to get the information I'm after. Aile: Thank you, X! Well then, if you're going to help me... (Aile rips an ID from his chest.) Aile: You'd better take this ID. With it, you will be able to enter and exit the Governor's Precinct. (Suddenly, three Preons appear, so Aile shoves X through a door.) X: Aile, wait! Aile: There is no time. Leave them to me! Just go! X: Aile, look at the condition you're in... Aile: Please... You have to help Chief R! X: Aile! Aile: I will not let you pass! |
2-5: Vow to Aile
2-6: The Bargain With Jango
Spider: A little too much for a common soldier? Wild Jango: What?! Spider! So, you think you can beat him? Spider: What'll it pay? Wild Jango: Oh, so it's money, is it? Very well! If you can stop X, you can have as much as you'd like! In due time, we, the Rebellion forces, will rule over all! Once we do, there'll be plenty of money to go around. Spider: I don't care who rules over who, but I could use a blank check. |
2-7: Spider Returns
Spider: You've really stirred things up, X. Which is perfect, for my line of work! X: Filthy bounty hunter! Spider: The name's Spider. Now, say your prayers... (Spider hits X with a card.) Spider: Too bad for you, but I can see you like you're in slow-motion. (Spider notices Aile's ID.) Spider: This ID...?! X: Don't touch that! A money-grubber like you doesn't deserve to lay his hands on that! That is all that remains of a Reploid who gave his life for his beliefs! Spider: So he... died? X: Yes, that's right... He sacrificed himself so Chief R could be saved and the Rebellion forces defeated. A creep who does dirty work for small change has no right to lay hands on Aile's soul! Spider: So, he gave it to you after he died, huh? (Spider looks into a security camera.) Spider: Sorry, Jango... But I'm through with this job! |

2-10: Spider Joins the Fight
X: Jango! What you're doing is wrong! I'm gonna take you down! Wild Jango: You've got to be kidding! (Jango attacks X, making him drop Aile's ID.) Wild Jango: You're a fool if you think a single Maverick Hunter has the power to take me on! Hmmm... (Jango lifts the ID.) Wild Jango: Hmph, so you used this to sneak into the building! (The wounded Spider hits Jango with a card.) X: Spider! Spider: Jango... Keep your hands off that. Creeps like you have no business touching it! Back off if you know what's good for you! Wild Jango: You don't know when to give up, do you? Fine! I'll make short work of you both! |
Chapter 3: The Paper Hero
3-1: Enter Massimo
Spider: Hey. Massimo: Wha-? Huh? Wait... You guys aren't Rebellion Army. X: I'm X. Our Resistance opposes the Army. Spider: Who are you? Massimo: Me? Ha hah! I'm Massimo. Call me Steel Massimo! Spider: Massimo... I remember hearing of warrior named Massimo fighting the Rebellion Army. X: Then, you're on our side! Whaddya say, Massimo? Join us? Massimo: Y... Yeah. So, first things first... Can you help me bust the 'roids out of this camp? |
3-2: Nana and Silver Horn
Nana: No... Master... Silver Horn: I trust that you understand... If you try anything funny, the POWs'll be turned into scrap! Nana: I understand, Master Silver Horn... Silver Horn: Good. The Rebellion Army owns you now. Don't forget that. |
3-3: Entrusted with a Legacy
Massimo: Oh... my... Steel Massimo: It's... you... Massimo: Oh my... What have they done? Steel Massimo: This is what they do when you refuse to join their clan. Glad I left the armor in your hands. Massimo: No! I'm not strong like you! Only the real Steel Massimo... Only you, in your strength, deserve to wear this armor! I'll never be as strong as you. Steel Massimo: You... 3-4: Battle with Silver Horn
Silver Horn: So, these are the rats who were scurrying around our death camp? Hmph! Fools. How dare you resist the Rebellion Army? Spider: So, you're the head honcho here? What have you done to Nana? Silver Horn: Ha hah! Nana's been a bad girl... So she's being punished! X: Don't you dare touch her! Silver Horn: The weak ones have no choice... They should just obey the strong ones. Obey the Rebellion forces! The slimy vermin of the world... Must bow down to our power! Hm? Is that Massimo? No, of course not... I took that feeble Massimo... And turned him into so much scrap! Massimo: "Feeble" Massimo? Silver Horn: Oh, certainly! As feeble as they come! He refused to join us. So I tore him limb from limb! Riiip! Ha hah hah! X: What is it, Massimo? Massimo: I thought there was someone behind me. Marino: Well, whoever they are, I'm sure glad they took care of those guards. Now, time for a little treasure hunting. |
4-2: Dr. Psyche
Dr. Psyche: Gaudile! I've come for you. I've been nice, since we go back a while, but... You've brushed me off for the last time! You can't refuse the Rebellion Army forever. Eventually... you'll join us! Because now we have an ace in the hole. X: I don't think so, pal. Dr. Psyche: Whoah! Are you X? How did you get past the guards? Quit your bumbling and get them! Don't let them out of here alive. Turn the fools into scrap metal! |
4-3: Cinnamon and Marino
(Marino enters a door, finding Cinnamon.) Marino: Hey there, kiddo. Do you live here? Cinnamon: Yes. I'm Cinnamon. Hello! Marino: Uh... I'm Marino. Cinnamon: Can I help you with something, Marino? Marino: Uh... yeah. I heard there was some treasure here, so I thought I'd take it off your hands. Cinnamon: Treasure? Marino: Yeah. That's my job. I relieve people of their valuables. Cinnamon: I see. But... The Professor never said there was any treasure here. Marino: Hmm... I wonder... Listen, kid... The treasure I'm looking for is called a Force Metal Generator. Have you heard anything about it? Cinnamon: Generator? Why didn't you say so? |
4-4: Enter Gaudile
Dr. Psyche: Gaudile... Epsilon is not trying to wage war! Surely you believe in the power of our common vision! Gaudile: Enough! Leave me alone, Psyche! Dr. Psyche: Gaudile. I know all about the Force Metal Generator you've been working on! Gaudile: What?! Dr. Psyche: I just have to say the word, and we could find where you keep it hidden, and take the Force Metal Generator for our own! You know very well the resources we have at our disposal. Gaudile: Ah! Impossible... Dr. Psyche: We know everything, Gaudile... You figured we were coming, so you came up with the brilliant plan of equipping the Generator onto a Reploid... who's hiding in another room! Right? (Dr. Psyche begins typing at Gaudile's console.) Dr. Psyche: So tell me, where is it? Which room? This one, perhaps? (A camera feed of Cinnamon's room appears.) Dr. Psyche: There it is! That's the Reploid! Now Professor Gaudile, just cooperate, and nobody has to get hurt! What's the matter? Cat got your tongue? Hey, who's that? |
4-5: Cinnamon's Secret
Cinnamon: The Force Metal Generator... is me. Marino: Whoa. So I guess I have to steal you, then. Cinnamon: Steal me? Marino: Yup. It's my job, don't you remember? Now, come with me, Cinnamon. (The camera feed returns.) Gaudile: No! She's trying to kidnap Cinnamon! Dr. Psyche: Kidnap...? The Force Metal Generator! No, she can't! |
4-6: Marino in a Tight Spot
Marino: No. The Rebellion Army...! Dr. Psyche: Get her! Ha hah hah! Only we are worthy of owning the great Force Metal Generator! Cinnamon: Ma... Marino! Marino! Hold on! (Cinnamon begins healing Marino.) Dr. Psyche: Ha hah hah! Incredible! So this is the power of the Generator! We don't need Gaudile anymore. I, Dr. Psyche, will make you into the perfect Rebellion warrior! |
4-7: Battle with Psyche
Dr. Psyche: Huh? Lousy thief! You should be dead! And X, is it?! X: Dr. Psyche! Your Rebellion Army days are over! Dr. Psyche: Ha! Wretched vermin! I pity you, I truly do... You obviously have no understanding of how far the Rebellion Army can take Reploid technology! X: You mean technology for war?! Dr. Psyche: I'm wasting my time with you. I'll take care of you myself. Get ready to meet your end. |
Chapter 5: Maverick Hunters Join Forces
5-1: Enter Axl
(As the Reploid leaps down, X aims his X-Buster.) Security Reploid: Hey, X... Don't worry. X: Hey... Axl: It's only me! X: Axl! Spider: Huh. An old comrade, is it? X: Yeah... But Axl, what are you doing here? Axl: I came to Giga City because I heard my shape-changing ability might have been invented here. I've been searching around for clues but, nothing yet. Spider: Yeah, I heard they used to do a lot of research in this place. Back before the rise of the Rebellion Army. X: So, they may have been working on Axl's shape-changing ability too? Axl: It's a very specialized area... But I heard of a few other Reploids with the same ability as me. X: I see. But with the Rebellion Army around, it's hard to investigate... Axl: Yeah. Like I said, not many clues around. X: Hey, Axl. Have you seen Zero around here? Axl: Zero?! You mean the Zero?! X: Yeah... We heard Zero was here and we came to find him. Axl: I haven't come across him yet. X: I hope he's OK. Axl: I'm sure he is. Don't worry. Zero wouldn't go down without a fight! C'mon! I'll help you look. |
5-2: Jentra
Security Reploid: It's no use! Breakthrough imminent! Aaah! (Zero bursts through the door to Jentra's room.) Zero: So, you're the factory boss, huh? Mach Jentra: Zero! So it was you! I'd heard you were dead... Zero: You know me. Never say die. Besides, I wouldn't feel right about dying without taking your boss with me! Mach Jentra: Well, aren't we peppy today! But you'll never reach our leader. You'll perish in this factory first! |
5-3: X and Zero Meet Again
(Mach Jentra is struck by a blast, as X and Axl enter the room.) Mach Jentra: Wah! Y... You! Zero: X! And... Axl?! Mach Jentra: Why you...! Axl: All the Class S Hunters, together again! May as well just beg us for mercy! Mach Jentra: Curses! (Mach Jentra retreats.) Axl: Aw, man. We let him get away! X: Zero! You're alive! Zero: Good to see you too, buddy. Axl: Hey, you two! Save the chat for later! We've gotta get down to business and go... Zero: He's right! Let's get him! |
5-4: Battle with Jentra
Axl: You won't get away this time! Mach Jentra: Ha hah! You'll be the ones begging for mercy! Now, Duboar! Dismantle them! |
5-5: Duboar Berserk
Zero: Now the Rebellion's prized soldier factory has closed its doors for good. Mach Jentra: Fools! If I die... Duboar will go berserk. Out of control! Think you can handle... a few hundred frenzied Mechaniloids? |
5-6: Axl Transforms
Axl: OK! It's all or nothing... Zero: Axl?! What is he up to? (Axl transforms into Mach Jentra.) Axl: Duboar! Cease the attack! Cease the attack immediately! (Duboar powers down, and the Preons freeze.) Axl: Now! (X and Zero attack Duboar, destroying it.) X: Heh. I'm sure glad you're alive, Zero! Zero: Yup, glad you're here, too! Me, X, and Axl, back together... We'll be able to show the Rebellion Army a thing or two! X: Okay, Axl, Zero. Let's head to the base. I've got some introductions to make. Zero: Introductions? |

6-3: Shadow Arrives
Shadow: Long time no see, X. X: Shadow! You're gonna pay for betraying us... Shadow: Well, X... I suppose you came here hoping to find the Supra-Force Metal? X: Supra-Force Metal?! What's that?! Shadow: You know very well. It's an improved form of Force Metal that the Rebellion Army is studying to help all Reploids achieve their ideal! You government lackeys can't have it! Spider: Achieve their ideal? What is it that the Supra-Force Metal does, exactly? Shadow: There's no need for me to describe the effects. Take me on and see for yourselves! |
6-4: Zero and Shadow
X: You sold out your friends for that power? That's some "ideal"! All you Mavericks care about is power! Shadow: How dare you call the great Epsilon a Maverick! X, I had hoped to gain you as an ally, but I hope no longer. I'll take your head, for Epsilon! It all ends here! (Shadow is interrupted by Zero.) Shadow: You! You're alive?! X: Zero! Zero: Think you could beat me so easily? Shadow! I've got a big wad of payback just for you! Time for round 2! Let's do it, Maverick! |
6-5: Sneak Attack
Zero: You're too soft, X. You always were. It only leads to trouble. (Shadow prepares a sneak attack.) Spider: Watch out! (Spider takes the hit, retaliating with a card to destroy Shadow.) X: Spider! Your arm...! Spider: Guess I overdid it, huh? Ow... Zero: Why?! I said I didn't need your help! Spider: Yeah, I know. I heard you in the first place. Listen, there really isn't anything complicated about why X decided to make friends with a lowlife bounty hunter like me. It's quite simple, really. Just like why I saved you. Cause I felt like it, Zero. That's it. X: But, now what? I guess we got to go check the lab. Okay Spider, you stay put with that arm. We'll check on you later. Spider: Wait! Take me to the lab with you! Surely a group of Class S Hunters like yourselves can stand to have a little handicap along for the ride. And, like I said... I'm curious... About this stinkin' "ideal" of theirs! Zero: You've earned my respect, Spider. Let's go. |
6-6: Battle with Incentas
Spider: Hey, isn't this the Rebellion Army lab? Incentas: Fools! You've fallen right into my trap. Behold! I am Incentas! Spider: A trap? Incentas: Yes! There isn't a scrap of Supra-Force Metal to be found here. It was all misinformation, designed to lure you Resistance cronies in! (An electric gate appears across the exit.) Incentas: You're trapped like mice in a cage. No other Reploid has the ability to warp into this structure apart from yours truly. Zero: Incentas, you really think we're going to lie down and surrender? Incentas: Ha hah! The amount of Supra-Force Metal I've applied makes Shadow pale in comparison! Come forth and meet your destruction! |
6-7: The End of Spider
(Incentas types on a computer, activating an alarm.) Incentas: This place is set to blow in 5 minutes! (X shoots his X-Buster fruitlessly at the door.) X: No good! Raagh! Incentas: The door won't open so easily, fools! Four minutes left! Ha hah! Looks like it's time to make my exit. Farewell! (Spider tackles Incentas and begins pushing him towards the door.) Incentas: No! What do you think you're doing! Spider: Even the Buster can't break through that. But the explosion from two 'roids ought to at least put a dent in it! Zero: Spider, stop! Incentas: Why you...! Spider: Sorry, this is it. I have to do this! The rest is up to you, X and Zero! (Spider detonates a card, destroying Incentas, the door, and himself.) |
Chapter 7: Block Transmissions!
7-1: Ferham
Zero: Then we'll just have to go through you! Ferham: Oh, you're a brave one! I like that. But... (X begins sinking into quicksand.) Massimo: X?! Zero: Massimo! X! Ferham: Oh, goodness! Sand already got you? (Zero grabs Massimo's arm, without sinking.) Ferham: Keep trying, boys! But it's no use, I'm afraid! Ha hah! (Ferham whips Zero, making him cry out.) Ferham: What's wrong, kid? I thought you said you wanted to fight? X: Zero! Let go! Save yourself! Massimo: Do it, Zero! Defeat her, even if you have to do it alone! Ferham: Now, listen to your pals! Forget about them, and come over and see me! C'mon, Zero. I know you want to beat me! Zero: Don't worry, I'll beat you soon enough! As soon as I save them! Massimo: Zero! Let go! Zero: Shut up! I won't stand by and watch another friend go down! Ferham: Well! You're no fun. I guess it's goodbye. This is the end. |
7-2: Enter Botos
Zero: You talk too much. Who are you, anyway? Botos: Ah, yes! Forgive me! I am Botos. A Cadre of the Rebellion Army, who fight for the hopes of all Reploids. Zero: Enough with the PR. Let us by if you know what's good for you. Botos: Ha hah! I'm afraid I can't do that. Feast your eyes on this! Know what this is? Supra-Force Metal! X: So that's what it is! Botos: That's right, gentlemen! This tiny little bit of Supra-Force Metal... (Botos applies the Supra-Force Metal.) Botos: Ha hah hah! Creates this much power! And with this power, I'll crush you feeble Hunters to pieces! |
7-3: Botos Escapes
(Botos drops a piece of Supra-Force Metal.) Botos: Oh no! The precious Supra-Force Metal, that Epsilon gave me! (Zero brandishes his Z-Saber at Botos.) Botos: Whoa! Shucks! Looks like I've been beaten. You've won for now, Hunters! (Botos runs to a teleporter and disappears.) Massimo: What the...? That was too easy. X: Cool! We've shut down the device! Gaudile: X, did you destroy it? The interference is gone! X: Yup, we took care of it. Communication shouldn't be a problem now. Chief R: Good work, X! X: Yeah, and... We have Supra-Force Metal! Gaudile: Supra-Force Metal? You've really done it this time, X! If we analyze that, we can determine what they're up to! Come back quickly, X! We'll get prepared for the analysis. X: OK! Let's head home! |
Chapter 8: The Ultimate Weapon
8-1: Battle with Botos
Botos: Ha hah! X: Botos! Botos: Well, hello X! You're early. He heh! X: We know all about what the Rebellion Army is trying to do with the Supra-Force Metal you got your hands on! Zero: And there's no way we're gonna let you get away with firing that missile of yours! Not under our watch! Botos: Clever! You even know about the missile. Axl: We're here as Maverick Hunters, to put a stop to your devious plans! Botos: Ha hah! Fabulous! But do you know about the warhead? We Cadres have the keys to the warhead, you see! The warhead is locked, unless you put the two keys together! Hee hee! Zero: Fine then. In that case... I guess the only thing for us to do is just to take the key from you! Botos: Ha hah! So, you really think it's that easy, do you? |
8-2: Battle with Ferham
X: You! Zero: Oh great...! Ferham: Calm down. Form a line if you have to! I'll make sure each one of you gets it! |

Scarface: I am Scarface, a Rebellion Army Cadre. I have come to avenge my fallen comrades, and to take back the Supra-Force Metal! X! I challenge you to combat! X: You want the Supra-Force Metal?! Scarface: That's right! We need to realize our vision! It's essential. Now, return it to us! |
9-2: The Throne
X: It's game over! For your plans, and your Rebellion! Epsilon: So, the Maverick Hunters have arrived. If you think you've declawed us by securing the missile's Force Metal, you're terribly wrong! Zero: What?! Epsilon: We still have Supra-Force Metal here! After we dispose of you, we'll use it in the warhead! X: I don't think so. Not if we have anything to say about it! (X fires his X-Buster, but Scarface leaps in the way.) Epsilon: Scarface! Scarface: Commander, please leave this to me. That rat, X... He learns new powers as he fights. If you were to somehow lose this fight, where would we be then?! Epsilon: Out of the way, Scarface! Or are you suggesting I would lose? Scarface: You alone carry the Rebellion Army torch! Commander Epsilon, you are the embodiment of our beliefs! Make the choice to live another day! Zero: We won't let you get away, Epsilon! Your fun and games have come to an end! Scarface: I beseech you, Commander... Allow me to demonstrate the depth of my faith! |

10-1: Air Strike

Zero: Well, from what Epsilon told us, it seems that the Rebellion Army hadn't yet retrieved the Supra-Force Metal from the warhead. So I don't think we need to worry about that thing going off for the time being. Redips: Are you happy now, X? X: Redips... What made you Maverick? Redips: Maverick? You seem more Maverick to me, with all your stubborn nonsense about friendship and your unwillingness to evolve. Ending
X: Yeah, okay. Zero: X, hurry! We're gonna reach the atmosphere any second now. Ferham: X? I'm sorry for all that happened... X: It's okay Ferham, just hurry and get rid of it... I'll join the Commander and Scarface soon. Farewell... (Ferham and the Supra-Force Metal detonate; on the Earth, Nana sees the explosion. Elsewhere, X, Zero, and Axl emerge from the elevator, which landed in the middle of the ocean.) |
