The Shadow Armor (シャドーアーマー) is a set of Armor Parts obtained from the Light Capsules in Mega Man X6.

In the Games

Mega Man X6

The Shadow Armor debuted in Mega Man X6. It is most notable for its shuriken-like Shadow Shots, Z-Saber proficiency, and ceiling and wall climbing abilities. Unlike previous Armor Parts, all four programs of the Shadow Armor must be collected before it can be equipped.

Programs	Location	Effect
Head Program	Recycle Lab	Increases the rate at which X can swing the Z-Saber.
Body Program	Inami Temple	Reduces all damage received by 50%, and grants X a Giga Attack. Its Weapon Energy fills whenever X takes damage from enemy attacks, allowing X to use the Giga Attack to surround himself in crescents.
Arm Program	Magma Area	Changes X's X-Buster shot to a Shadow Shot (シャドウショット) that fires randomly-angled shuriken stars (similar to C-Shot). Upgrades his Charge Shot to Engetsurin (円月輪), a saber slash that creates a crescent moon-shaped effect. However, X cannot use any Special Weapons.
Foot Program	North Pole Area	Grants X the ability to touch spikes without taking any damage, and the ability to cling to walls indefinitely. X can also Ceiling Cling (天井張り付き) by performing a high jump with Up + Jump Button (similar to Zero's Hyoroga). While upside-down on a ceiling, he can Dash once or fire Shadow Shots downwards.

Mega Man X DiVE

In Mega Man X DiVE, Shadow Armor X appears as a playable Hunter Program. His Active Skills are the Shadow Shot and the Giga Attack.

Other Game Appearances

• In Mega Man X Legacy Collection, in X Challenge, X may briefly equip the Falcon Armor to attack with its Shadow Shot and Engetsurin during the battle.
