Rockman X Giga Mission

Rockman X Giga Mission Versus Extreme (ロックマンXギガミッションバーサスエクストリーム), or simply Rockman X Giga Mission for short, was a Carddass series released by Bandai in 2019. It was a line of collectible cards that told a sequel story to Rockman X Mega Mission 4, set directly after the events of Mega Man X5. It is currently the final Mega Man Carddass series released.

A short manga adaptation was released in the Rockman X Giga Mission Special Book alongside the Carddass, illustrated by Yoshihiro Iwamoto just like the cards.

Story

After the events of Mega Man X5, Zero is missing and X wields the Z-Saber in his memory. However, the mysterious Isoc has secretly studied Dr. Doppler's work and revived the Limited as the upgraded Extreme. He also creates a new iteration of the Nightmare Police, Saktira CC and Pranara DD, and sends them to search for Zero.

X heads to the wreckage of the Space Shuttle upon learning that two Reploids have been spotted there. He finds Pranara, who sends Slash Beastleo EX to fend him off. X destroys Beastleo using the Proto Blade Armor, but a piece of Extreme falls on his armor and he drops the Z-Saber. Saktira grabs the Z-Saber, but the Extreme in her body reacts and transforms her into a twisted copy of Zero, Nichts. He destroys his own ally, Blizzard Wolfang PR, and nearly destroys Commander Yammark PR but he escapes.

Meanwhile, X defeats Magmard Dragoon EX. He then sees Nichts and is confused by his resemblance to Zero, giving Nichts an opportunity to strike. However, the Extreme on X's armor evolves it into the Extreme Armor, helping him regain composure and fight back. In response, Nichts grabs and absorbs Pranara, fusing into the giant Chaosbrahman Orochi. X channels all of his power into a single blast, reverting both fighters to their base forms, before he grabs the Z-Saber and uses it to slash through Nichts. As X returns to base, Isoc finally discovers that Zero is alive.

02		Zero	Zero DATA: This red Irregular Hunter is X's friend and mentor. His whereabouts have been unknown since a mission where the fate of planet Earth was at stake. WEAPON: He can use his beloved sword, the Z-Saber, and his Z-Buster to unleash numerous lethal attacks.
03		Dr. Doppler's Legacy	Dr. Doppler's Legacy X has stopped Dr. Doppler's Limited and hindered the fall of Eurasia. However, during the latter events, Zero went missing. Isoc, is searching for Zero, made Dr. Doppler's Limited evolve even further and brought it back as the Extreme.
04		Extreme	Extreme DATA: Isoc's upgraded and improved version of Dr. Doppler's Limited, a semi-organic being. WEAPON: It can take over Reploids and control their bodies. It continues to evolve as it accumulates its host's data.
05		Saktira CC & Pranara DD	Saktira CC & Pranara DD DATA: Recreated from data obtained from Dr. Doppler's Nightmare Police using the Extreme. WEAPON: Saktira can create rings of light and move at high speeds, and Pranara can use his tremendous power for devastating punches.
06		Dispatch! Nightmare Police	Dispatch! Nightmare Police With data from Dr. Doppler's schematics and the Extreme, two Nightmare Police have been revived by Isoc. They have been instructed to find Zero. X is informed of two mysterious Reploids wandering around where the shuttle fell, and he quickly moves to investigate the situation.
07		S-Beastleo-EX	Slash-Beastleo-EX DATA: The Steel King of Destruction once defeated by X. He has been merged with the Extreme and resurrected. This is his Extreme form. He possesses very strong legs. WEAPON: He can use his claws for slash attacks and also fire shockwaves from his toes by performing the Twin Slasher attack, which can cut through steel.
08		X vs. S-Beastleo-EX	X vs. Slash-Beastleo-EX Pranara has been caught breaking into the shuttle ruins by X. However, Pranara doesn't want to be interrupted and has sent his subordinate, Slash Beastleo EX, to attack X. Slash Beast, now powered by the Extreme, ambushes X!
09		X (Proto Blade Armor)	X (Proto Blade Armor) DATA: This new armor is a prototype that was made using the Falcon Armor as a base and has added functions for the Z-Saber. WEAPON: He can fight both long and short-range using his Charge Shot and Charge Saber abilities.
10		New Power! Proto Blade Armor	New Power! Proto Blade Armor X, who has dropped his powerful Z-Saber, is now counterattacking using his new armor. The battle is decided by the use of the Charge Saber, making Slash Beastleo explode. However, a part of the Extreme that revived Slash Beastleo has gotten onto X's buster!
11		Nichts	Nichts DATA: This is Saktira CC's form after being imbued with an Extreme that absorbed Zero's data from the Z-Saber. WEAPON: Can slash and fire energy bullets with his own version of the Z-Saber and Z-Buster.
12		B-Wolfang-PR	Blizzard-Wolfang-PR DATA: He was built in the shape of a wolf for working in extremely cold areas. His personality was too aggressive and would become violent too often, so he was later improved and remade. WEAPON: He toys with his enemies using tricky moves, and the ice projectiles he can shoot from his mouth can bring down anything in his way.
13		Nichts vs. B-Wolfang-PR	Nichts vs. Blizzard-Wolfang-PR Saktira, who was observing X, has picked up the Z-Saber. However, the Extreme within her body, using the Z-Saber as a core, has made her evolve. Saktira, whose appearance now resembles Zero, has become Nichts and is attacking her ally, Wolfang!
14		C-Yammark-PR	Commander-Yammark-PR DATA: Built in the shape of a dragonfly for working in forest preservation. His tracking skills are excellent, but he's quite weak in battle. WEAPON: He can use his remote controlled units, the Yammar Option, to check the status of the airspace around himself.
15		Escape! C-Yammark-PR	Escape! Commander-Yammark-PR Wolfang has been cut down to the claws and shattered by Nichts' Z-Saber. Yammark, who noticed the strange situation of the Nightmare Police, had his arm cut off, making him drop the parts of Zero he had been collecting. He barely escaped to Isoc's location.
16		M-Dragoon-EX	Magmard-Dragoon-EX DATA: The Explosive Martial Artist has merged with the Extreme and been resurrected. Both his fighting and his pride have been boosted, and thus he challenges X once more. WEAPON: He can shoot his enemies by covering his fists with fire and shooting a Hadouken, and he can also perform a lethal uppercut, the Shoryuken.
17		X vs. M-Dragoon-EX	X vs. Magmard-Dragoon-EX Nichts has destroyed Wolfang and is looking for more to destroy. Those actions, are they the will of the Extreme? Or perhaps Zero's true nature? What was in front of him was the scene of a violent fight unfolding between X and Dragoon.
18		A Sudden Change	X - A Sudden Change The silhouette of Nichts appears in front of X, who has just finished Dragoon. "Zero...!?" Confused by the silhouette, X is unable to attack. Nichts keeps attacking, not giving attention to X's status. X was in a pinch, but the Extreme that landed on X's armor has started evolving, and a new armor is born.
19		X (Extreme Armor)	X (Extreme Armor) DATA: The Extreme that fell onto X's armor has evolved during battle and become a new armor. It has gained a new power that rivals Nichts. WEAPON: He can concentrate all of his energy to shoot a devastating Extreme Buster.
20		Nichts... Further Evolution	Nichts... Further Evolution! X has calmed down after received a new power. He's begun fighting back against Nichts. As X obtained the power of the Extreme, Nichts has lost the upper hand. However, Nichts has felt the danger ahead and has gone for the body of the other Nightmare Police, Pranara.
21		Chaosbrahman-Orochi	Chaosbrahman-Orochi DATA: Nichts has added Pranara DD to Saktira and a giant fused Nightmare Police has been born. WEAPON: Can shoot shockwaves from the Z-Saber, Z-Waves, and use a remote controlled rocket punch.
22		X vs. Chaosbrahman-Orochi	X vs. Chaosbrahman-Orochi Nichts has absorbed the body of two Nightmare Police and grown into a giant. X, who has been fighting back with full power, has charged all of the energy from the Extreme into his buster and fired. With the impact of the power of the Extreme, the whole area is obscured by a flash.
23		Z Saber of Victry [sic]	Z-Saber of Victory A huge clash of energies from both sides make them cancel out, and with that, the Extreme vanishes. Immediately, X has reverted to his regular form. He takes back the Z-Saber and cuts down Nichts with it. Nichts has ceased to function. But has the Extreme's menace really ended after this?
24		Zero's Ghost	Zero's Ghost X has stopped the Nightmare Police and is returning to his comrades on the surface. However, as X continues, a new incident occurs. What's more, that incident is related to both the Nightmare Virus and Zero's ghost. These are rumors, but what could the truth be...!? Stand up for a new fight, X!
