Carddass

Carddass (カードダス) is a brand of card vending machine produced by Bandai. It is also used as a generic term given to the collectible cards sold by these machines. The name was inspired by AMeDAS (Automated Meteorological Data Acquisition System), a system in Japan used for gathering weather data; the idea being that Carddass would be an information source for kids.

There have been several lines of licensed Mega Man Carddass series, including the original Rockman X Mega Mission stories.
