Incept Chasers

The Incept Chasers with Dr. Doppler in Rockman X Mega Mission.

The Incept Chasers (インセプトチェイサー) is a group appearing in the Rockman X Mega Mission Carddass series. They are a duo of Reploids who work for Dr. Doppler, supervising the evolution of the Limited for him.

History

Rockman X Mega Mission

Upon creating the Limited, Dr. Doppler sent the Incept Chasers, Curtiss and Schmitt, to watch the Limit Repliroids and retrieve their Limited when they were destroyed. Curtiss collected the Limited from the first four Limit Repliroids after each was defeated by X, disguising himself in a cloak. Finally, Curtiss revealed himself in an attempt to take X's Clear Buster, but he was defeated. Before he could reveal Dr. Doppler's identity, Schmitt beheaded him.

After X and Zero fought the other four Limit Repliroids in an abandoned factory, Schmitt attacked both of them. Although he had them on the ropes, he was repelled when X gained the Clear High Buster. Schmitt retreated to the Mother Limited for help, but was instead absorbed by it and used in the creation of iX.
