Green Biker Dude

"Green Biker Dude", or "GBD" for short, is the fan-made nickname for a character who only briefly appears in Mega Man X2. His only appearance is in the game's Opening Stage, where he perishes while driving a Ride Chaser into battle alongside X.
In the Games
Mega Man X2
"Green Biker Dude" only appears in Mega Man X2. The Japanese game manual mentions that X led the 17th Unit to destroy a Maverick-producing factory, so it can be assumed that he is part of that unit.[1]
He can first be seen in the game's opening cutscene, driving a Ride Chaser alongside X. He next appears in the cutscene at the start of Maverick Factory Stage, again driving alongside X. However, he is struck by a laser and explodes in the background before he can reach the factory. He was likely included as a foil to X, showing how far he had come since Mega Man X as the new ace of the Hunters.
