Power-Up Parts (Mega Man Xtreme 2)

The Power-Up Parts (パワーアップパーツ)[1][2] are four collectible upgrades for Zero, only appearing in Mega Man Xtreme 2. Similar to Armor Parts, they are obtained by stepping into Light Capsules hidden throughout the game's stages.

Mega Man Xtreme 2

In Mega Man Xtreme 2, Zero can enter Light Capsules in Zero Mission stages to receive Power-Up Parts, analogous to X's own Armor Parts in X Mission stages. They function similarly, granting Zero additional abilities with each Part he equips. However, the effects themselves are slightly different (mostly borrowed from the First Armor), and they do not change Zero's physical appearance at all.

In the Japanese version, Dr. Light admits that he does not fully understand Zero's systems, and therefore can only make him minor upgrades. The Compendium of Rockman X lists these parts in the same section as the Normal Armor (the Armor Parts from X1-X4).

Parts Icon Location Effect
Head Parts
Desert Stage Grants Zero the Head Crush (ヘッドクラッシュ), the ability to destroy certain blocks by jumping into them from below, headbutting them.
Body Parts
Aerial Battleship Stage Reduces all damage received by 50%.
Arm Parts
Underground Stage Grants Zero the Zero Final, a powerful combo attack that consumes all his Weapon Energy.
Foot Parts
Weather Stage Grants Zero the Leg Crush (フットクラッシュ), the ability to destroy certain blocks by Wall Kicking off of them.
