Model X (モデルH) is a Biometal in the ZX era, first appearing in Mega Man ZX. It contains the data of X, and can be used to Megamerge into the Blue Mega Man.[Citation needed]

In the Games

Mega Man ZX

Sprite from Mega Man ZX.

Model X debuted in Mega Man ZX. It is one of the six Biometal that were created by Ciel to counteract Model W and keep its core sealed away. While four of these Biometal fell into the hands of Serpent, and Model Z was found by Girouette, Model X remained hidden.

At the start of the game, Girouette is hired by the Guardians to deliver a package containing the recently-collected Model X to Prairie. In Area A (Forest), Giro and Vent/Aile are separated by Mavericks just before the rendezvous. When Vent/Aile and Prairie are cornered by the Giga Aspis, Model X reveals itself and shows Vent/Aile how to Megamerge. Excited by their newfound power, Vent/Aile plans to use Model X to join the Guardians and fight Mavericks. After later receiving Model Z, Vent/Aile discovers Model X's unique Double Megamerge ability by forming Model ZX for the first time. Model X can also Double Megamerge with the game's other Biometal: Model H, Model L, Model F, Model P, and even Model O.

To enter Area M (Remains) to destroy the Model W core, Vent/Aile uses the six Biometal's passwords (Model X's is "Lumine Infinitus") to unlock the seal. Unfortunately, this gets the Model W core stolen by Serpent. When Serpent later merges with Model W in Slither Inc. head office, Model X and the other five Biometal encourage Vent/Aile to fight on despite the odds.

Mega Man ZX Advent

In Mega Man ZX Advent, Model X returns alongside Model Z as Vent/Aile's Biometal. It first appears when Grey/Ashe comes upon Vent/Aile in the Quarry, alerting them to their presence. Vent/Aile Double Megamerges to form Model ZX, which they use throughout the entire game.

When Ouroboros begins to collapse, Model Z separates from Vent/Aile to hold the rival Mega Men at bay, leaving them Megamerged with only Model X. It is later seen in the ending, now Vent/Aile's sole Biometal.
