Siarnaq (シャルナク) is an antagonist in Mega Man ZX Advent. He is the Biomatch for Model P, and one of four rival Mega Men seeking to awaken Model W and win the Game of Destiny. He plans to obtain the power of Model W for his own purposes.
Physical appearance
Siarnaq is a Reploid with spiky purple hair and a tattered red scarf that covers the lower half of his face. He wears an archetypal Mega Man vest with a purple color and puffy pants that end at his shins. He has red eyes, like the other rival Mega Men, but which are perpetually wide open.
When he Megamerges with Model P, Siarnaq gains purple Mega Man armor. He retains his red scarf, and his entire head is concealed by a helmet with a pointed white jaw, leaving only his glowing red eyes visible. He wields a set of Kunai knives and a shuriken called the Cross Star. Notably, his battle stance is hunched-over with slack arms, unlike the other Mega Men's fists.
Personality
Siarnaq is the twisted reflection of Hidden Phantom. Despite their similarities as stoic ninja characters, Siarnaq has no loyalty to anyone and does not trust anyone, unlike Phantom, who valued loyalty and honor above all else. His personality and tone of speech is rigid and robotic, a defense mechanism that prevents him from forming connections with anyone. In English his speech is capitalized (e.g. requesting "INPUT RESPONSE"), while in Japanese his text is written almost exclusively in katakana, which is typically used to indicate a monotone voice. This is a result of being betrayed in the past. Siarnaq is also the only one of the four rival Mega Men who never stated his reason for participating in the Game of Destiny, owing to his closed-off nature. He is seen attacking the Legion HQ, which might show a dissatisfaction and hatred to the government. He is also shown to be sadistic, as when he defeats the player, he laughs dementedly - in the English version, his laugh is monotonous as expected, but in the Japanese version his laugh is surprisingly high-pitched and deranged.[2]
In the Games
Mega Man ZX Advent

Siarnaq debuted in Mega Man ZX Advent. He is a former Hunter who specialized in assassinations, until one fateful mission where he was betrayed by his comrades and left for dead. Since then, he has suppressed all emotions and refused to make connections with others. When he was approached by Prometheus and Pandora, he accepted Model P and joined the Game of Destiny for an unknown goal.[1][3]
Siarnaq first appears alongside Aeolus in the Tower of Verdure, where they face Grey/Ashe after hearing about them from Prometheus. Siarnaq Megamerges with Model P and urges Aeolus to quickly retrieve the Model W core, before they depart.
Siarnaq is next found at Legion HQ, where he plans to take over the Legion government headquarters.[4] He ambushes Grey/Ashe in a dark, dilapidated skyscraper, leading to a boss battle. Upon his defeat, he makes a tactical retreat. Grey/Ashe then absorbs Siarnaq' DNA data for A-Trans, which also unlocks the second Model A cipher and reveals that the creator of Model W is a member of the Sage Trinity.
After the Pseudoroid boss attack in Ouroboros, Siarnaq returns alongside the other Mega Men to defend Albert. Vent/Aile keeps them busy, allowing Grey/Ashe to face Albert alone. Once Grey/Ashe destroys Albert and triggers the collapse of Ouroboros, Model Z immobilizes Siarnaq via Model P, allowing Vent/Aile to escape with the unconscious Grey/Ashe. Siarnaq disappears in the collapse with the other Mega Men.
In the bonus Extreme mode ending, Siarnaq is summoned to serve Master Thomas alongside the other three Mega Men. The significance of this is left a mystery due to the cliffhanger ending of the ZX era.
Other Media
- In the Rockman ZX Advent manga, Siarnaq appears in the final issue with the other Mega Men as the Game of Destiny begins.
