Model ZX (モデルZX) is the Double Megamerged form of Model X and Model Z, first appearing in Mega Man ZX. It is first achieved by Vent/Aile after the death of Girouette. Vent/Aile also utilizes it in their appearance as a boss in Mega Man ZX Advent.

Mega Man ZX

Sprite from Mega Man ZX.

Model ZX debuted in Mega Man ZX. It first appears when the Model X Mega Man, Vent/Aile, and the Model Z Mega Man, Girouette, are attacked by Serpent in Area D (Highway). After Giro is brainwashed into fighting Vent/Aile, they are ambushed by Mavericks, but before Giro's death, he bequeaths Model Z to Vent/Aile. They Double Megamerge for the first time, forming Model ZX, and fight off the Mavericks while swearing to stop Serpent's plans and protect those they love with this newfound strength.

For the rest of the game, Model ZX outright replaces Model X as Vent/Aile's default Megamerge form, inheriting most of its powers plus many new ones. With it, they collect the other Biometal from the Pseudoroids and eventually defeat Serpent. Afterwards, they continue to use Model ZX, having totally inherited Model Z from Giro.

Mega Man ZX Advent

In Mega Man ZX Advent, Model ZX returns when Vent/Aile uses it as a boss. As Grey/Ashe investigates the Quarry for signs of a Model W, they run into Vent/Aile, who is there to destroy the Model W too but does not trust them. This misunderstanding leads to a fight, before which Vent/Aile Double Megamerges into Model ZX. After coming to a draw, Grey/Ashe copies their DNA data using Model A's A-Trans. This gives them the ability to mimic their Model ZX form, who plays similarly to before but lacks an Overdrive and has new attacks.

In Ouroboros, Vent/Aile uses Model ZX to keep the four rival Mega Men busy while they face Albert. Once they succeed and Ouroboros begins to collapse, Model Z cancels the Double Megamerge to immobilize the four Mega Men, allowing Vent/Aile to escape with Model X. With Model Z's fate left unknown, it is unclear if Model ZX can return.
