_NA.jpg) Mega Man & Bass is a platformer game in the Classic era. It follows Mega Man 8, though it is not officially numbered and can be considered a spin-off. Initially released exclusively in Japan as Rockman & Forte (ロックマン&フォルテ, Rokkuman ando Forute) for the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) in 1998, the game was ported to the Game Boy Advance in 2002 and released internationally in 2003, coinciding roughly with the franchise's 15th anniversary.
