An Energy Crystal, also known as an Energen Crystal (エネルゲン水晶) in Japan or as an E-Crystal for short, is a recurring item in the Mega Man series. It is a type of crystal that contains immense power, and is used as a way to power Reploids and other electronic mechanisms. It is first mentioned in the X era, before first becoming a collectible item used as currency in the Zero era.
