The Resistance (レジスタンス) is a group of Reploids from the Zero era that were labeled as Mavericks by Neo Arcadia. The leader of the Resistance is its sole human member, Ciel. Although they oppose Neo Arcadia and its government, they only fight to defend themselves and all those fleeing oppression, seeking peaceful solutions to conflict whenever possible.

This is a comprehensive list of named members of the Resistance, across the entire Zero era. Most members of the Resistance have names derived from French words relating to the sky or birds, with some exceptions.

Ciel			The leader of the Resistance. Formerly a scientist in Neo Arcadia, Ciel specializes in researching Reploids, Cyber-elves, and energy sources. She is the one who awoke and recruited Zero from his century-long slumber. Her name is from "sky" in French.
Milan			A soldier who escorted Ciel to Zero's resting place, dying to protect her from Pantheon Hunters. His firearm was used by Zero to form the Buster Shot. His name is from "kite" in French.
Cerveau			A skilled engineer who maintains weapons, equipment, and databases. His name is from "brain" in French.
Alouette			A girlish Reploid who looks up to Ciel and takes care of Cyber-elves. Her name is from "lark" in French.
Andrew			An old man who loves to talk a lot. His name is French, originally meaning "man" in Greek.
Hibou			A chubby Reploid who loves to eat E-Crystals and learns to work hard. His name is from "owl" in French.
Colbor			A soldier who leads the Colbor Team in Mega Man Zero, and helps evacuate Neo Arcadia in Mega Man Zero 4. His name is from "raven" in French.
Dande			A wounded soldier who looks up to Zero. His name is from "turkey" in French.
Faucon			A combat Reploid who is a security guard for the Resistance. His name is from "falcon" in French.
Rouge			One of two Operators who controls transfers and gives mission briefings. Her name is from "red" in French.
Joan			One of two Operators who controls transfers and gives mission briefings. Her name is from "yellow" in French.
Hirondelle			A reconnaissance agent who gathers intel for the Resistance. His name is from "swallow" in French.
Perroquiet			A genius young Reploid who works as an assistant to Ciel. His name is from "parrot" in French.
Doigt			An engineer who helps Cerveau craft weapons. His name is from "finger" in French.
Menart			A sharp young Reploid who is a troublemaker. His name is from "myna" in French.
Autruche			A boring Reploid who manages the Resistance storehouse. His name is from "ostrich" in French.
Rocinolle			A nurse Reploid who helps patch up the wounded. Her name is from "nightingale" in French.
Pic			A cynical Reploid who makes unhelpful comments. His name is from "woodpecker" in French.
Elpizo			A former administrative worker in Neo Arcadia. He temporarily took charge of the Resistance's military in Mega Man Zero 2, adopting an aggressive strategy that led him into madness, seeking the Dark Elf to destroy all of Neo Arcadia. His name is from "hope" in Greek.
Ethos			A blond soldier Reploid who leads Elpizo's Operation Righteous Strike. His name is from "morality" in Greek.
Pathos			A brunet soldier Reploid who leads Elpizo's Operation Righteous Strike. His name is from "emotion" in Greek.
HE22		-	A Reploid who helps Elpizo escape Neo Arcadia in the Drama Tracks of Remastered Tracks Rockman Zero Telos.
Zero			A legendary hero who was awoken by Ciel to fight for the Resistance. He is opposed to persecution of any kind, hoping to see through his friend X's dream of peace between humans and Reploids.
X			A legendary hero who once ruled Neo Arcadia, before he sacrificed his body to seal away the Dark Elf. He now works behind the scenes as a Cyber-elf, helping the Resistance in any way he can.
