MegaMan.EXE, known as Rockman.EXE (ロックマン.EXE) in Japan, is a main protagonist and playable character in the Battle Network era. He is the NetNavi companion of Lan Hikari, and the two work together to NetBattle and bust Viruses across the internet in the Cyberworld. He is sometimes nicknamed Mega, or Rock (ロック) in Japan. In reality, MegaMan is a digital recreation of Hub Hikari, Lan's twin brother who passed away shortly after their birth, due to a rare heart condition called HBD.
