Summary

Compendium of Rockman X mainly contains information on the first seven games of the Mega Man X series, plus the two Game Boy games in the Xtreme series. It also contains some information on Mega Man X8 and Mega Man X: Command Mission, which were new releases at the time.

  • The introduction (pages 2-16) contains bios on the main characters: Mega Man X, Zero, Axl, and Sigma.
  • Chapter 1, "Complete Works" (pages 17-146), contains information on the main nine games covered in the book, including story details, stage data, and boss files. There are also bonus pages for Mega Man X8 and Mega Man X: Command Mission.
  • Chapter 2, "Database" (pages 147-188), contains more rigorous data on the nine games, including a complete list of Special Weapons, Armor Parts, Ride Armors and Ride Chasers, enemies, and secrets.
  • Chapter 3, "Early Series Concept Art" (pages 189-199), contains previously-unseen concept artwork for the first three Mega Man X games. Many of these sketches were also included in the gallery of Mega Man X Collection.
