The Final Weapon, from the opening of Mega Man X4.

The Final Weapon (ファイナルウェポン) is a location from the X era, only appearing in Mega Man X4. It is an orbital weapon that was constructed by Repliforce, and later chosen as the home of their independent Reploid nation. It is the setting of the game's Last Stages.

Mega Man X4

The Final Weapon only appears in Mega Man X4. It can be seen on the game's title screen, but is not mentioned until the player unlocks the Space Port stage. At this point, X/Zero is informed that Repliforce plans to move into outer space to establish their independent Reploid nation away from the humans. They plan to live aboard the Final Weapon — Sigma later confirms that Repliforce constructed the space station, though it is unknown if its construction was part of the coup d'état or if it was already one of their military assets. Regardless, X/Zero takes a shuttle from Hunter Base to infiltrate the Final Weapon and stop Repliforce. They progress through the stage Final Weapon 1, defeating Double/Iris along the way.

After General is defeated in Final Weapon 2, the Final Weapon suddenly activates and targets the Earth for an attack, against his will. X/Zero rushes through Final Weapon 3 to find the perpetrator, who is revealed to be Sigma. However, after his defeat, Sigma informs them that the Final Weapon is still going to crash into the Earth. Fortunately, the wounded General arrives and uses his body to destroy the Final Weapon before it can hit the Earth, sacrificing himself in the process. X/Zero escapes the Final Weapon in a small shuttle before the entire station explodes.
