Zero (ゼロ) is a recurring protagonist and playable character in the Mega Man franchise. He first appeared as a deuteragonist in the X era, before starring in his own series in the Zero era, before appearing posthumously in the ZX era as a Biometal. An alternate incarnation of Zero also appears as a NetNavi in the Battle Network era.
