A Special Weapon Item (特殊武器アイテム), also known as a Weapon Item (ウエポンアイテム) or a Heart Part (心臓部分), is a recurring item in the Classic era. It is an item that appears when once a Robot Master boss is defeated, and collecting it grants the player their Special Weapon.
In the Games
Mega Man
In Mega Man, a Heart Part appears in the middle of the arena once a Robot Master is defeated. Once Mega Man collects it, his Score is counted and he exits the stage with a new Special Weapon in hand.

Mega Man: The Power Battle
Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters
Mega Man Powered Up
In Mega Man Powered Up, the Heart Part from the original game is replaced with a Pack Item.
