A Life Up (ライフアップ),[1] also known as a Heart Tank[2] in some early English sources, is a recurring item in the Mega Man franchise that first appeared in the X era. When collected, it permanently increases the player's maximum Life Energy.

In the Games

X era

Life Ups debuted in Mega Man X as collectible items hidden throughout the game's eight major stages.

Zero era

While Life Ups do not appear in the Zero era, certain Cyber-elves....
