An Another Route (アナザールート),[1] also known as a Transfer Area (転送エリア),[2] is a type of secret area found only in Mega Man X6. They are alternative paths through the game's eight stages, which can be accessed by entering a blue portal hidden within each stage. Each Another Route ends with a fight against a special boss known as an Another Boss (アナザーボス).[1]
