The Nightmare Investigators (ナイトメア調査員) is an organization appearing in Mega Man X6. It is a group of Reploids, organized by Isoc and led by High Max, who allegedly research specific locations with high Nightmare activity. They are all creations of Gate who previously perished at some point, but were resurrected by him to run this investigation ruse.
