Sliding (スライディング) is a recurring movement technique in the Mega Man franchise. It is the ability to perform a low slide along the floor.
In the Games
Classic era
Sliding was introduced in Mega Man 3, giving Mega Man a short burst of speed and decreasing his height so he can fit through small tunnels.
