Energy Pellet (small) MM1 - Energy Pellet.png Restores 2 units of life energy.
Energy Pellet (big) MM1 - Energy Capsule.png Restores 10 units of life energy.
Score Ball MM1 - Score Ball.png Drops only from defeated enemies and increases Mega Man's score bonus. 1,000 points are awarded for each ball at the end of the stage.
Weapon Capsule (small) MM1 - Weapon Energy Pellet.png Restores 2 units of weapon energy.
Weapon Capsule (big) MM1 - Weapon Energy Capsule.png Restores 10 units of weapon energy.

These items can be obtained in other ways:

Name Sprite Description
Magnet Beam Can be found in Elec Man's stage. Unlocks the weapon of the same name for the rest of the game.
Robot Master core MM1 - Core.png This unnamed item appears after defeating a Robot Master. Touching it ends the stage and awards Mega Man with the Robot Master's weapon.
Yashichi Refills Mega Man's life and weapon energy and awards 100,000 points. Only one is found in the game, in Wily Stage 4.
