In ''Mega Man 6'', Au-Au appears exclusively in the [[Frozen Island]] ([[Blizzard Man]]) stage, where it is the first enemy type encountered. It remains completely stationary as it waits for Mega Man to be at the same height, then charges up a ball of energy on the tip of its nose, which it fires roughly towards him once it is fully charged. Its attacks are limited to three specific angles, however, giving it many blind spots in which it can never hit Mega Man.
